Community Partners - Sparkle and Rise

Penny Jar Project

At Kepler STEM School, we believe education can change the world. We also believe all students around the globe should have access to education. We are proud to partner with local charity, Sparkle and Rise, in support of their Penny Jar Project. This fundraiser will directly support the Generous Community School in Lusaka, Zambia.

Generous Community School is run by Mr. Nyirendra. While the school provides the children of the Ngombe compound in the slums of Lusaka an opportunity for education, there are no funds to pay teachers or buy food and supplies. We want to help Mr. Nyirendra do more. You can help, too.

Sparkle and Rise has a dedicated team of loving mothers in Lusaka who will be buying all  supplies locally with the funds raised here.

Generous Community School

There are 198 children at the Generous Community School; 110 are girls. Sparkle and Rise wants to ensure that these girls continue their education. This is where we need your help.

They are in need of things we take for granted — basic school supplies for grades 1-7:

  • Textbooks for English, math and social studies

  • Workbooks for all grades

  • Art supplies

  • Pencils, pens, chalk, etc.

  • Reading books

  • ...and more

Kepler STEM School is honored to work with Sparkle and Rise in this endeavour. Let’s reach out from the students here in Leander, Texas, to the students at the Generous Community School in Lusaka, Zambia, to make a difference and support the next generation of world changers.
